today was a good day for me. i explained to my dad that my May expenditure was sky high. and i needed an advance in my allowance. instead. he asked how much i needed, and why. after presenting him with a carefully thought out list of 'claim-worthy' items, he presented me with a $50 note in the car (:

which would thus affect my current status tremendously.
